Homeless but unyielding in spirit, Urrunga channels the rich heritage of his Yorta Yorta Nation into unique and evocative figurative paintings that celebrate and preserve his people’s ancient stories. Using whatever materials and paints he can get his hands on, he creates vibrant works that depict ancestors, Dreaming spirits, and the deep connection between his culture and the land.
