Flinders

To walk along the tracks, among the ghosts and in the dust of the Flinders Ranges is a truly compelling experience.The silence rumbles through you. The time and weight in these hills sits heavy with this phantom presence, the history perhaps. I had to go away and brood awhile before I found my way to make something of it.

These paintings are a sort of meditation or a whispering rumination about a place.
