Gillian Wright is an assemblage artist based in Sydney’s Inner West.
Her work incorporates found objects with ‘wings’, creating pieces
with a whimsical quality. Gillian is a multi-disciplinary artist, but it wasn’t until she combined
her passion for collectables with the humble venetian blind that she
found her true passion. The bonus is saving discarded objects from
landfill. She enjoys nothing better than foraging for the unusual, broken, and
quirky. “One person’s trash is another’s treasure.”
