Josh Honeyman
Josh Honeyman has held 13 solo gallery exhibitions since 1996. He is interested in 19th century romanticised darkness and gothic aesthetics, gloomy forests, night walking, and the local nocturnal wildlife. He lives in seclusion deep in a forest in the Blue mountains, painting in an ivy-clad studio surrounded by stone gargoyles and forest creatures. He is currently studying a Master of Research with a focus on the Fin de Siècle and visual depictions of escapism into otherworlds.
