JUDY SKATSSOON is a local artist who lives and paints from her studio in Redfern. Judy attended the City Art Institute, now UNSW School of Art & Design, in the 1980s but worked as a journalist before resuming her painting practice in 2021.

Judy is an eclectic artist who works across all painting genres and a wide range of mediums. She’s interested in colour, memory, place and the subconscious, and finding beauty in the everyday objects that surround us.
