I'm currently delving into the realm of ART movements spanning from 1945 to 2000 and diving into Jerry Saltz's book, ART IS LIFE. This endeavour aims to realign the importance of PAINTING within my artistic journey. My mind is often teeming with a plethora of random ideas and vivid images, akin to a lifetime's worth of mental snapshots. Amongst these, the ones that linger for more than a month become candidates for my canvas. Despite numerous setbacks and failures, I've resolved to craft my own Manifesto once I've completed my readings. Subsequently, I aspire to embark on a cohesive series comprising a number pieces, each adhering to a consistent stylistic approach. My admiration extends to German works of the 1920s, alongside a profound affinity for neo-expressionism in the post-war era.
