Kim Baldwin

Kim combines experiments with mixed media and mark-making techniques to create intriguing, abstract and tactile artworks. Her work is subdued in its use of colour as she favours earthy, neutral or lighter hues with the occasional burst of colour.

The subtlety of her pieces is underscored by a depth and intricacy borne out of her use and juxtaposition of different materials. Her works use past memories and found materials to represent significant people and experiences in her life which she alludes to in the titles of her works.
