MARTIN DAVIES

Martin is a contemporary artist currently living on the Central Coast and has been making art since his early twenties. Mostly a self-taught painter his strong design sensibilities were honed as an Architecture graduate from the UNSW. Primarily a figurative abstract artist, his technique has shifted over time as his skill and confidence as a painter developed. His current paintings are a metaphysical mix of figurative and abstract elements within musical compositions that speak to the artist’s identity and sensibilities.
