Coupling his obsession with pop culture and his interest in primitive man and animals - he creates themes that reflect both worlds crossing over. Art and human history, infused with dinosaurs, aliens, robots and monsters.
Matthew has been influenced by Sci Fi, horror movies and mags , inspired by Jack Kirby, Jim Steranko, Chris Welch and Hanna-Barbera, including political stencil art from counterculture publications.
Using vibrant colours, Matt works mostly with pens and pencils (including - collage and acrylic paint) on paper.
