“The erratic nature of a Min Min light is what often frightens those who spot one. Known to suddenly divide into two lights and appear like headlights in the distance, then frantically looking to move closer, further, up down and around the horizon.“

First Nations people don’t regard the Min Min lights positively, but also not harmfully.

In different Aboriginal Dreamtime’s, the Min Min lights are elders roaming the country. They are there to restore order and protect the country. They also are a reminder that curiosity kills the cat. My aunty Leanne would warn us of these spirits. She would regard them in much respect and remind us to not follow them as they may take you off your desired path. In some cases they can remove you off the lands if they don’t want you there, utilising their illusive aura and power to send you else where.
