Peta Landman
Peta is a ceramic sculptor taking inspiration from natural forms and their interactions with the environment. Born in Malaysia and moving between Australia, Europe and America has shaped her insights into the reverberations of change on both the cultural and natural worlds. She now lives in Sydney on Gadigal land. Humanity in its links with nature, demonstrates how we can adapt while remaining resilient. Exploring the tactile qualities of clay and its ability to transmute through heat are important elements of her process.
Peta has a Masters of Arts Administration from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW, a Certificate of Sculpture from The National Art School, Darlinghurst and has trained at the Tom Bass Sculpture Studio. Peta has worked in publishing and as an arts consultant. She is a qualified psychotherapist who works with clients on issues around creativity.
