Polina Karuso

Polina Karuso is an emerging artist, living and creating in Wollombi, in the Hunter Valley on Yengo (Yunge) country.

Polina is inspired by the landscapes of the Hunter Valley, Broken hill, Lightning Ridge and Hill End. There She captures the incredible vistas as a Plein-air artist in a wide range of media on Small hardwood blocks, up-cycled from a Bush timber furniture maker.

She is also interested in spiritual conversations, connecting the human inner being with the outside world.

Discussions about the human condition, relationships and interactions between people is also a prevalent theme within her practise.
