Victor Bravo

1. What does Colour mean to you?

Emotional ingredients for us artist to mess around in playful attempts to interpret our surroundings.

2.If you were a colour what colour would you be?

Sometimes I am yellow, sometimes I am blue, most of the times I am red. More than to "be" I would use the Spanish term "estar" which is a temporary/circumstantial way of "being".

3. Tell me about purple.

Absence of green presence of mystery.

In 1985, an earthquake in Chile catapulted Victor Bravo into the limelight. His inaugural painting featured bold black, red, and peach hues smeared over a Mickey Mouse illustration in a coloring book. Victor's journey as an artist commenced when he sketched Goku on the school's blackboard. Despite being just 16, he secured admission to the prestigious Art basic training program at the Universidad de Chile but because of parental disapproval he was forced to leave the program. Consequently, Victor adopted a new identity and embarked on a nomadic lifestyle, leaving his father's home behind. During his university days, he co-founded an indie magazine called "Espiritrompa," which later evolved into "Espiral comics," a platform where he and his peers crafted and published their comics, a venture that endures to this day. Inspired by his involvement in designing and animating characters for an independent film, Victor delved into storytelling techniques tailored for film formats. Presently, Victor resides in Sydney, Australia, where he pursues his passion as an independent Scenic Painter
